Why - ???

Your first efforts where vastly superior compared to what that twat (A professional rod builder - allegedly) did to Lee's M4. Why would you want to "aspire" to that? Unless you were building a rod for someone you didn't like -

He went against what Lee asked for regarding ring placement and number and his high build finish just had to be seen to be believed! My nephew could have easily produced a better high build finish - when he was still in his pram! The real crime is that the guy is still in business!

The more i cast this rod the more i love casting it, stepped up from 125g lead to 150g lead today and all i can say is thanks terry mate she is a better rod than i thought, she handles a 150g lead with ease, although that is due to casting correcly and i owe that thanks to sean. Watched vid off recording from todays session and its pretty much there, just need to speed it up abit but everything else seems to be fine. Also thanks to lee as watching your cast in slow mo taught me a thing or two. Anyway she is polished and ready for 2morro"s session. I know its sounds soft guys but you all have given me huge confidence in casting with a gripper and traces regardless if its 200 yards or not (although it is hehe) and for that and that alone thank you all. :drinkers:
