Yo people

The farmers wife phoned me to say, due to the field being used for silage we can't use the field until mid August when they are going to cut it, then we can use it indefinitely.
I go past that way to work so I can keep an eye out for when it is cut.
I think if all who use the field would be willing to chip in a 5 or 10 spot and I'll get Hilary to get them a gift of some kind.
Good fields are hard to come by!

Thats a shame but it's understandable that they don't want it tramped flat. Very decent of them to give us access to it in the first place so I think that a wee collection for a gift is a great idea.

Ai, don't think they drink or anything being good living, so get them a small gift of some sort.
At least we can use it again after mid-august, handy for us that live near by.
